M2 | Messier 2 | NGC 7089
Although just beyond the reach of the naked eye, this globular is one of the largest known, spanning about 175 light years. Most of its 150,000 stars are red and yellow giants, the brightest being 13.1 mV. At Class II, this globular has one of the densest cores.
